Die Skuur Campsite is located at Mariental in Namibia. (Directions can be found at the bottom of the Contact page.) For the weary traveler the campsite is an oasis to rest and relax. Situated about halfway between Sossusvlei and the Fish River Canyon, it is the perfect stop over. Traveling from Windhoek to Sesriem, Sossusvlei or the Fish River Canyon ? The international airport at Windhoek is a 3½ hour drive away from Mariental. Also remember to spoil yourself by booking a true traditional Namibian “braai” dinner with local side dishes – it is exceptional!

Stone-build ablution campsites
A private campsite with its own stone-built ablution. You can stay in your own tent/camper or a tent can be provided. The tent we provide is a two-sleeper canvas tent with two single beds inside. We unfortunately do not supply bedding, and you will have to bring your own bedding should you choose this option.

Diese Campsite ist einfach nur wunderschön. Die Eigentümer sind wahre Goldstücke und geben ihr Bestes, damit es einem an nichts fehlt. Es gibt Strom, warmes Wasser, ein verschließbares Toilettenhäuschen, Sitzmöglichkeiten uvm. Wir haben uns nach den beiden Tagen als Teil der Familie gefühlt und sind unglaublich dankbar, für diese tolle Zeit. Absolut empfehlenswert – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
This campsite is simply beautiful. The owners are real gems and do their best to ensure that you don’t miss anything. There is electricity, warm water, a lockable toilet, seating and much more. After the two days we felt like part of the family and are incredibly grateful for this great time. Absolutely recommended – we would come back at any time!

It’s such a beautiful new campsite, designed with a lot of attention to detail. The hostess is so warm. She puts a lot of effort into giving her guests a wonderful and unforgettable time.
