Sorry it took so long to send the review!! We stayed at this campsite for one night on the 11th November 2024. Was a beautiful campsite, access was secure, grounds were very well maintained and the campsite had everything required. The bathroom was gorgeous (my style of camping). Was a great start to our wonderful 16days of sunshine!! The owners were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable and hard working. The home grown strawberries were deliciously sweet and went very well with the homemade ice cream. You were all praying for rain and I believe your prayers have now been answered. If we get chance to ever come back we will definitely be visiting again. We wish you all the very best with all the plans you have for your business x

Very clean facilities. The hosts are very helpful and friendly.
Close to town as well but still with the feeling of being on a farm.

This will surely be my new stopover whenever I travel.

Superb place. Marvelous stay. Amazing people. Perfect halfway stop between Windhoek and Sossusvlei or Fish River Canyon OR between Sossusvlei and the Fish River Canyon.

Nice place, and a lovely hardworking Afrikaanse family! The lady is very informative and friendly. The camp ground is clean, simple and has exactly everything you need for a camping stay. Also very easy reachable passing Mariental. There are 3 ways of camping here ( if I’m not wrong) so choose what fits you!

This campsite is simply beautiful. The owners are real gems and do their best to ensure that you don’t miss anything. There is electricity, warm water, a lockable toilet, seating and much more.
After the two days we felt like part of the family and are incredibly grateful for this great time. Absolutely recommended – we would come back at any time!

Stayed overnight at Die Skuur Venue & Campsite on our way back to SA. Absolutely wonderful! We had our own ablutions that was very nice and clean. Power, hot water, lovely shower and own braai area. We were offered supper at an additional cost and were not disappointed! Was a large portion & by far the best meal we’ve had on our 3 week road trip through Namibia. Absolutely yummy! Can definately recommend Die Skuur Venue & Campsite.

This was easily the most welcoming stay we had in Namibia. Elzeth made us feel like home, she gave us a tour of the farm and cooked a delicious dinner at night. She and her family really care about their guests’ needs. The cute and cuddly dogs Patat and Peanut did the rest :).

The campsites are clean, spacious and each has a big table with shade.

The whole campsite is new and built with so much attention to details. It is a gem!

All the spots come with power, running hot water from a wooden stove, outdoor seating area, and washroom with a beautiful rain shower.

The owner showed us their new expansion area with communal washrooms. They are going to be equally equipped and gorgeous.

The campsites are clean, spacious and each has a big table with shade.

Really nice and polished site run by a lovely couple who are more than happy to chat and give recommendations about the area and surrounds.

Very clean ablutions that have the extra details to make them feel luxurious: power points in bathrooms, mirrors, quirky shower heads.

Shaded areas provided for each campsite with solar lighting. Some grassy areas and campsites are paved so your feet stay clean. More than average number of flies/mosquitoes so just be prepared.

Be sure to ask the owners if they are cooking traditional Namibian braai the night you’re there! Delicious food for $150R and vegetarian option (only sides) for $60R.

Would absolutely stay again! Paid $175R pppn for rooftop tent camping with public ablutions
